Community Gardens

Greyston Community Gardens consist of 10 garden sites throughout the city of Yonkers. Participants of all ages grow and enjoy fresh produce and community members engage in workshops on nutrition, sustainability, culture and environmental education.

A Community Center without Walls

Greyston Community Gardens have been nurturing a healthy and sustainable community since 1995. Each year we engage over 1,000 of our neighbors through gardening activities, produce sharing and nutrition and sustainability workshops. We are proud to harvest and share over 14 tons of organic produce every year.
